As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and help shape one of the most exciting emerging brands in pet wellness.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in supporting the monthly close process, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring strong internal controls across accounting operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and help lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Prepare and post journal entries and oversee detailed account reconciliations
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Assist with compliance reporting requirements
  • Support audit requests
  • Contribute to the enhancement of accounting processes, reporting efficiencies, and internal controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support accounting and financial operations
  • Lead adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) applications throughout the accounting function
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within CPG/retail industries
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
